The website https://www.festanca.org, hereinafter referred to as “site”, is owned by the ASSOCIAÇÃO FESTANÇA, located at Rua de Santo André 728 DTO, 4640-036 Ancede, with taxpayer number 518576612, registered at the IRN Registry with the same number, as a non-profit association, hereinafter referred to as “FESTANÇA” or “EVENTS PROMOTER” or “PROMOTER”.

Using this site grants the user the status of user and constitutes the full and unconditional acceptance by the user of the terms and conditions of the site and the event.

The use by the user of any information, content, products, or services provided on or through the site is subject to these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Notice.

“FESTANÇA” makes every effort to ensure that the availability of the site is continuous and that all communications are error-free. However, due to the nature of the internet, it cannot guarantee this. Additionally, access to the site may occasionally be interrupted for repair, maintenance, or inclusion of new services. “FESTANÇA” will do its best to make these interruptions rare and of short duration.

“FESTANÇA” may modify the terms and conditions of the site at any time, and once published, they are considered accepted by the user on the next visit to the site.

LICENSE FOR SITE USE

“FESTANÇA” grants the user a free and limited license to access and use the site, except to modify or download (unless specifically authorized) all or part of the site, without prior written consent from “FESTANÇA”.

This license does not include any permission to sell or commercially use this site or its content; any modification of the use of the site or its content, which is not public domain; any download or copy of information for the benefit of third parties; any use of tools such as data mining, bots, or any other for extracting and compiling data.

USER CONDUCT

The user should not use the site in any way that may cause, now or in the future, issues with its normal operation or availability. The users, and not “FESTANÇA”, are responsible for all electronic communications and content sent from their computers to the site, and may only use them for legitimate purposes.

The site cannot be used for fraudulent purposes or any activities related to illegal actions; sending, using, or reusing any material that is illegal, offensive, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or threatening; or that violates copyrights, privacy, or any other rights; or sending materials containing viruses, political propaganda, or spam.
Users of the site declare that they are aware of and accept the terms and conditions of the site and guarantee their respect and responsibility for all actions or omissions that contradict them.

RESPONSIBILITY

Although “FESTANÇA” makes every effort to ensure that there are no errors and that all information is up-to-date, it cannot take responsibility for the accuracy of all content and any damages that may arise from them.

“FESTANÇA” reserves the right to suspend or modify the content or how it is presented, change its designation, or even shut down the site whenever it deems necessary according to its strategy and technical needs, without prior notice and for as long as it deems necessary, without any liability to compensate the user.

Copyright is recognized regardless of registration, deposit, or any other formalities.
All content referred to here, including texts, graphics, logos, buttons, images, audio clips, video clips, and software are the property of “FESTANÇA” or third parties duly identified and are protected by the Portuguese Copyright Code. Therefore, the reproduction or representation, in whole or in part, of any of these trademarks is strictly prohibited and must be subject to prior written authorization from the brand owner. The compilation of all data and its layout is the property of “FESTANÇA”.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY TO THE “FESTANÇA” FESTIVAL

1 – Age Classification: All ages are accepted.

2 – Children under 12 years old can only enter the festival if accompanied by a legal guardian (parents) or an adult duly identified who is responsible for them. If there are doubts about the child’s age, the person responsible for checking may request proof of age, and entry will be denied if not provided. Children under 12 years old have free entry to the venue but must be registered.

3 – The ticket is only valid for the location and date specified on the ticket or on the website https://www.festanca.org, which prevails in case of conflict.

4 – There are two types of tickets, the all-day ticket, and the daily ticket, as well as three different stages for ticket sales (in addition to the pre-reservation stage for tickets):

1st STAGE – ADVANCED TICKET SALES FOR FESTANÇA 2025

This is the stage where you can reserve your tickets in advance, paying only when the first phase of ticket sales starts. This ensures you get one of the tickets from the first stage.

1st STAGE – ONLINE TICKET SALES

This is the ticket with the lowest price available and will be the first phase of advanced ticket sales. After payment, the ticket is non-refundable.

2nd STAGE – ONLINE TICKET SALES

This is the ticket with the second lowest price available and will be the second phase of ticket sales. After payment, the ticket is non-refundable.

3rd STAGE – ON-SITE TICKET SALES

This is the ticket with the least affordable price available and will be sold in the last phase of ticket sales. No refund will be given.

5 – Alcoholic beverages will not be served to minors under 18 years of age.

6 – Entry of objects considered dangerous by the organization, or other prohibited substances or items by law, including explosives, pyrotechnics, weapons, or items that could serve as weapons, spray cans, etc., is not allowed.

7 – Any person who exhibits violent, aggressive, or otherwise illegal behavior, displays signs of intoxication or drug use, or refuses to surrender unauthorized or prohibited items, will be denied entry to the festival venue.

8 – Animals are not allowed at the festival, except for guide dogs for the blind. There have been past issues with lost dogs and dog fights. Please note that heat, dehydration, noise, and crowds can increase stress and health issues for pets. For this reason, pets are not allowed at Festança. However, there is an exception: if you absolutely need to bring your pet because you have nowhere else to leave it, and you come with your caravan, you may place it in the caravan parking area under the right conditions, not loose.

9 – Smoking is not allowed in any of the festival’s indoor areas, in accordance with Law 37/2007 of August 14.

10 – Recording and broadcasting of the entire or part of the event by any means, as well as the use of professional cameras, is strictly prohibited.

11 – The ticket holder acknowledges that their image may be captured and recorded during the event and, therefore, grants the Promoter all image rights over those recordings, free of charge.

12 – In case of event cancellation, rescheduling, or replacement of main artists, the amount paid for the ticket is non-refundable, and the ticket holder may use the ticket for the next scheduled edition, according to the legal terms.

13 – No refund will be given if the performance is not carried out due to force majeure or any unforeseen events that occur without the will or responsibility of the Promoter (Decree-Law No. 23/2014 of February 14).

14 – The ticket holder acts at their own risk, expressly acknowledging that the Promoter is not liable for any risks, damages, or any other incidents occurring before, during, or after their stay at the festival venue, except in cases of negligence or intent on the part of the Promoter.

15 – Reselling tickets or using them for promotional or institutional purposes is not allowed unless there is prior and express consent from the Promoter.

16 – The ticket holder loses their rights upon leaving the festival venue.

17 – Ticket holders whose actions are incompatible with these Terms and Conditions may be denied entry or removal from the festival venue, and their tickets will be canceled without refund. The Promoter, at its discretion, reserves the right to take further legal action.

18 – The Promoter reserves the right to update and make changes to the rules established in these Terms and Conditions without prior notice.

19 – The ticket holder should periodically check https://www.festanca.org to stay informed, as the most recent version of the Terms and Conditions will always be available there.

20 – The Promoter reserves the right to alter or modify the event’s schedule.

21 – The ticket holder expressly declares that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions in their entirety, without reservation, and are fully aware of the rights and obligations arising from them.

CLAIMS

The rights and resources provided here, and any claims and disputes related to them and/or the services, will be governed, interpreted, and applied in all aspects solely and exclusively in accordance with the internal laws of Portugal.

APPLICABLE LAW

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law.
